I called up some tire places for quotes because the Mr. Tire in Chambersburg quote me around $1,600. I was blown away... that Mr. Tire would charge so much, since the MSRP of the tire I wanted (Michelin Defender 2) is easily available on the internet. I was basically going to pay Mr. Tire $700-$800 for 4 tires of labor. They even tried to sell me an oil change (why???) and an alignment (my alignment cannot possibly get any better than it is now).Then, I called up Keystone Ford in Chambersburg. I got a very good quote, I won't say what it was because it might have been "too" good to get me in the door, but regardless it was a very good quote. Much more importantly, I got up to $200 in rebates through Ford. I felt so well treated by the service staff as well as the technician Zachery Coulter, whom I made sure to tip after he brought me in to show me something wrong with the tire pressure monitor. The service staff member, Kirk Gosira, was also particularly helpful; he spoke to me with such respect and kindness and even took me out to my car to show me some facts about it. They did a free inspection of my vehicle as well (though it wasn't thorough, I didn't even pay for it, so it was a kind gesture).I was extremely impressed by the entire experience, as well as the insane rebate I got along with the low labor cost. Again, I think my labor cost was particularly low this time, but I don't think there's a single place I could have a more thorough treatment for that amount of money. I am astounded by this tire shop and I will make sure to spread the word.Kudos to Zach and Kirk!read more
We worked with Steven (and a few other people) and it was a great experience all around. Everyone was very polite,... kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and kept us informed of the progress every step. I even called after buying about questions and they helped us. They were also very family/kid friendly. We went for a specific car and didn’t get any additional sales pitches just helpful with what we wanted. I highly recommend looking here, and we will again when we need another car. I wish we were closer to try out the mechanic. It’s a small, but nice dealership.If you are buying from VA, I highly recommend you get your own tags done at the DMV. There is at least a 6 week delay from dealerships from when the DMV receives paperwork. This is not Keystone’s fault by any means, they sent everything very quickly. Keystone Ford told us it would take a while and they can’t do anything about it or see progress like they can in other states, unfortunately. If you can, just do it yourself in 20 mins to save worry about the tags and delays. VA DMV is in no rush for this matter.read more

I recently purchased a used 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid from Keystone Ford. I want to start by saying that everyone was very... friendly, and at the time of purchase I was happy with the buying process itself.Unfortunately, the very next day after taking the car off the lot, serious issues began. The vehicle shook badly on startup, and the heating system stopped working. These are not minor concerns, especially on a newer vehicle.After taking the car in for service, it was found that the vehicle had a coolant loss and a head gasket failure, along with engine roughness at idle. The repairs included (but were not limited to):• Head gasket replacement• Coolant system repair and bleeding• Engine oil and filter replacement• Head bolts, seals, and gasket kit• Brake cleaner and sealant• Diagnosis confirming coolant entering the cylinder and engine issuesThis is a major engine repair, not a simple fix. Had the vehicle been properly inspected or test-driven before being sold, the shaking on startup and the non-working heater would have been obvious. This raises serious concerns about whether a full diagnosis was done before selling the vehicle.I have spoken with Noah multiple times and requested an extended warranty simply for peace of mind, as this situation has been extremely stressful. I was told that warranties cost “thousands of dollars” and could not be provided. However, I spent thousands of dollars purchasing a vehicle that already had serious issues, which were not disclosed to me at the time of sale.While the staff was friendly, selling a vehicle with undisclosed engine and heating system problems is unacceptable. I am very disappointed in how this situation has been handled after the sale and feel this could have been avoided with proper inspection and transparency.I hope this review helps future buyers ask the right questions and ensures better quality checks moving forward.read more

If you plan to drop your vehicle off for an oil change they will do it very last of the day. 3 times so far I’ve had... 8am appointments an each time I got a call at end of there work day right before they closed that my truck was ready. What’s the point of scheduling a time if they don’t do it in the order it arrives? People do have other things to do in a day. I left a very good review the day we bought our Jeep Rubicon on 3/8. The sales guy was amazing. But a week later we... noticed that it was leaking oil. We waited another week just to see if maybe it’d be fine.. But another week went by and continued to get worse. My fiancé called the dealership and talked to a manager that told him he’d talk to their service manager. My fiancé even sent them pictures and told them what he thought it could be. Manager replied back and said that “the service manager is not overly concerned that it wasn’t leaking drastically” Now over a month later it is continuing to get worse. Being in the automotive industry, I’ve never seen a dealership not want to own up to something that could’ve been fixed before selling the vehicle. Buying a vehicle from a dealership and already having issues with it a week in is a big red flag. I attached a photo of the leak. I’d recommend not buying a vehicle from here. I thought the vibe felt like a small dealership that actually cared about their customers, but I guess I was wrong about that! My friend purchased a used Honda from this dealership two years ago. I was recently checking her fluids and noticed... that there was no cap on top of the transmission. After speaking to the service manager who was excellent, he took care of everything. My friend was told That they replaced the transmission fluid and also a new cap was purchased. Approximately one month later I was looking at my friends car to make sure that everything was done properly, and to my surprise the transmission filler cap was still not on and so the transmission is left open with the fluid exposed to contamination which can decrease the life of the transmission, a very expensive repair! I'm attaching a picture, there is a cap laying on the top of the transmission which probably blew off as it is not a genuine Honda cap. The real reason I was looking this time was because the last time I noticed when they changed her oil that the overflow tank had no radiator fluid filled between the two lines. After the oil change and transmission fluid replacement, apparently they still never checked the radiator fluid because the overflow tank is still empty. I can't recommend this dealership for service or sales.read more

Found a great deal on a used vehicle using the internet. The car sold itself. The staff was friendly over the phone... and in person. Unfortunately, there wasn't a lot of consistency or knowledge about the vehicle when it came to its history or recent services. The vehicle we bought has an 8/25 inspection sticker but when we drove it home 2 lights were not working properly or at all. Secondly, we were given a key that says 2/2 but they weren't sure where 1/2 was located. When they find it, they will mail it to us... this was concerning.What's good?The dealership honored the price online without a trade in nor the financing special so we were still able to get the vehicle at a great cash sale price. They also performed a free emissions test for us even though they are not in a county that requires it but we are. The sales manager was very polite and kind.read more

I am so disappointed in the experience I’ve had with Keystone since purchasing my vehicle from them less than a year... ago. I’ve had several engine codes and performance issues with my vehicle. Everytime I take it in to ge looked at, I get a runaround story, misdiagnosis, or am told that everything is fine and to just keep running it until a code comes on and take it in again. I’ve never been offered a loaner during any of the 4 visits I’ve made there in the last 5 weeks, including being told today I couldn’t get a loaner when I asked. I still have no answer as to what is going on with my car after 4 visits and paying hundreds of $ replacing a part in which they gave us a wrong diagnosis. Just so frustrated that they can’t figure out what’s going on with my Ford vehicle that I bought from them less than a year ago!read more

I looked back and seen that my back window was completely spidered and eventually fell through. I called Keystone Ford because I still have the factory warranty and paid extra to have all of the coverage on the vehicle. They gave me the run around about having it towed, investigated etc...WITH THE FACTORY WARRANTY. Didn't offer to take care of it right away or anything. I came in here never haggled on the price of the vehicle. Was nice and understanding of everything. I had to go through my insurance company with a 500 dollar deductible and 150 to overnight the glass so I can have it done. Thank god my daughter wasn't in the back seat when this happened. Very poor example of caring about customers after the sale, zero communication.I bought a used truck from them with a... warranty, 10 days later the transmission lines blew and left us stranded. I tried calling the dealership, and was forwarded to a voicemail, so I had to leave a message. Nobody returned my call because I am over 3 hours away and I'm sure they didn't expect me to pursue anything.I ended up towing the truck to the dealership myself and whenever I got there it was a mad dash to try to get out of the warranty. Eventually they agreed to "fix" the truck.I dropped the truck off on a Monday and heard nothing until Friday. Friday I was told the truck would be ready the up coming Monday or Tuesday. I received no call Monday, Tuesday, or Wesdnesday so Thursday afternoon I called and find out that the truck was finished on Tuesday and they did a 3 mile test drive (not long enough to see if the issue was fixed properly).So I drove 3 hours again back down to the dealership that Friday and paid what I needed to pay. It was right before closing. I got out of town and my truck started to shudder. A transmission issue that occured from the lines blowing. They were already closed so I limped it home and sent an email to Eric that night telling him the issue and to please call me Monday, it's Wednesday evening and they never responded. Now I have over 21 hours of driving to and from this dealership and a truck that isn't safe to drive. By far the worst communication out of any dealership I have worked with.read more

We have a 2017 Ford Escape, purchased at Keystone Ford in 2018. we were told that since this was a pre owned vehicle... with only 3k miles on it, it would carry a 7 year warranty to us. The Engine has failed and Keystone ford and Ford motor company, refuses to honor our 7 year warranty. Engine may need replaced at a cost of possibly 8k and they all refuse to help pay for the bad engine and/or repair it. Ford knows that may of these engines were bad from new and refuse to correct the problem and repair the bad ones. Any help glady accepted.read more

Absolutely Horrible after sales experience with ZERO support for their screw ups. They screwed up my extended warranty... contract. When I took my vehicle to my local Ford dealership for warrantable repairs they showed me where the mileage was put into the system wrong at time of sale. I then contacted Hagerstown Ford and was told they could not pull my information up immediately. Given them the benefit of a doubt I gave them my information and asked for them to look it up and call me back. 1 Week, no call backs. I called again and got ahold of Michael Branson and shared my information with him. He was very off putting immediately and blamed other people and said he would see what he could do, (I'm sorry its such a big deal to fix your own screw ups ) He asked me to email over the information I had and I said I would and asked him for a response to my email when he received it. He said that he would. He has yet to respond over 5 days later and has not returned any of my voicemails. It's very clear to me now that once they get your money in Finance, they are done with you! Since they can not be bothered to fix their screw ups, My next call is to Ford Co. I wish I could take back all of the positive things I said about this company. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!read more

The mechanic at Quik Lube encountered rusted brackets and bolts that required a penetrant soak overnight.The mechanic gave me a ride home and finished my car first thing the next morning!Certified Auto Mechanics at Quik Lube saved hard to find brackets and hardware saving me the additional cost of replacing accessories.The counter honored their estimate and even though the job ran over in hours, I paid a very agreeable cost for another professional job.read more
Wednesday I was second in line. I decided to drop off for oil change, inspection, new wiper blades, and recall fix. I... told the counter guy that I would need by end of day and didn’t mind the waiting customers to be helped who got there right after me. I get a call around 3:30 pm that my 2021 explorer failed. I was told one strut failed but best to replace both rear since it would need alignment twice if done a year apart. So after being told $800 I chose to do both. Parts were to be in next am for pick up Thursday. At 4:45 pm Thursday I called from work to hear from a lady who had to go find my suv. To find out they hadn’t touched it! Parts came in at 3:30 pm is what I was told. The tech to do the recall was off Wednesday too! So today, Friday I am to get my suv back! Three days later. I get a quick call now my bill is over $1,000, recall isn’t done, and alignment wasn’t needed…..still waiting seven hours later for manager to call me. Recall wasn’t done because manager said someone’s recall was more important than mine…legit what the guy told me on the phone. Wendy was very nice and seemed embarrassed! I bought the “best” warranty which hasn’t covered anything. I can’t believe the recall wasn’t fixed. I paid out of pocket the first time. Now the recall is issued and no one fixed in three days! Even more disgusted that no one has returned my call.read more
Dropped my vehicle off for further diagnosis of steering issues back on September 6th on the day they wanted it. As a... mechanic I gave them all the fault codes qnd everything I knew they would need to know to pin Point the issue. 3 months later with little to no contact with anyone, multiple voicemails I left with no call back, I had to call the HR department to get ahold of the service department to only find out the same thing they told me 2 months ago and they would get to it tomorrow. If I would of known it would take this long with no result I would have taken it elsewhere. As of now I still don't have my vehicle back.read more

Have now had my vehicle in to them 3 times over the past few years for manufacturing defects and recalls. On two of... those occasions, they have taken several months to run the diagnostics and/or complete the repairs.My car has currently been sitting in their lot for 3 1/2 months, and they have still not even run diagnostics on it. They have made assurances that they would get to it "in the next couple days" on at least 4 occasions separated by multiple weeks. It has now been nearly 3 months since the first of those assurances, but it is still sitting untouched in their parking lot. During this time, their sales department has sent multiple e-mails asking if I would be interested in buying a new car, and I have received multiple letters in the mail reminding me about upcoming regularly-scheduled maintenance and open recalls, prompting me to get the service scheduled at Keystone.I have no idea how a business continues to operate with this level of incompetence.read more

I’ve purchased many vehicles over the years but my experience with my salesman Frank Blood was smooth and a very easy... one. After signing paperwork to purchase my vehicle I excitedly hopped in to drive home. It was only then I noticed a very easy to miss issue with my touch screen radio. Frank came right back out, checked it out and within at most two minutes he issued me paperwork to present to service about my problem. It wasn’t a cheap or quick fix. However, I was able to get a great loaner to drive while the issue was solved. The bill on the issue was around $1800 to fix. I PAID ZERO!! Communication was great during the time to fix and was super easy and made everything very low stress. I would never hesitate to return to purchase another I would certainly look for Frank when I do!read more

Terrible. Won't be going back. Everyone acts like youre just a pain while there. Im having problems with a 2021 Ford... transit. Tried to set up a appointment over the phone, left my info, no call back for days. So I stopped in. Was able to schedule to have it looked at 2 weeks away. Showed up and waited 2 hours. Said it needs parts, they'll call me when they're in. In the meantime they lost my key fob for my personal jeep. All I got from them was "we can't find it." No sorry or nothing. Here we are almost 4 weeks later with no call. I call in, they forgot to order the parts. Then they try to schedule me 2 weeks from now yet again. No. I asked to pick up the part myself, being a mechanic and they said no due to warranty work. I'm gonna try the other two Ford dealerships in the area.read more
Did not have a good experience at this dealership on an attempted repair. Took to them to get an estimate on a repair... to the ac system. Extremely hard to get ahold of the service department. Did not get back to me the day they said they would. When they did call me with an estimate they hadn't even looked at the AC system but a totally unrelated issue I hadn't even asked them to address. Took another day to get the AC estimate. Which then came in double of any other local shop. I don't like to leave poor reviews but did not have a good experience here.read more

I will never purchase or have a vehicle serviced at this location again.I had an online appointment for my Kia for... 11:30, plus I got a confirmation. When I arrived I was told not to use the online system. Then I was given to Richard because he handles fleet cars. Richard stated he does not do online appointments and could squeeze me in several hours later.I purchased a Ford Edge here over a year ago and never had problems getting my fleet car serviced. Richard was very rude and inflexible. He should be fired. I will ensure the Fleet company is aware of this location and Keystone will never have my business again.read more

I scheduled a delivery of a vehicle for 5pm I... called first thing that morning to discuss a concern with the vehicle before my appointment that day I was told the sales manager would talk to me that evening at 5 when I got there I was OK with that. I show up at 5 and the sales manager is gone for the day so I never spoke with them before the papers were signed. I was told to call the service manager 2 days later I don't feel it's my responsibility to chase him down after I made an effort once to speak with him. Seriously the most useless dealership I have been to. I took my 2021 Explorer ST in for an oil change, and when I... started the vehicle, there was a whistling from the seat area. They looked at it and said that it was the seat cooler, and that they didn't have "anyone heavy enough to have broken that part" in their dealership. I explained that I had been using the seat cooler and never had a problem until I took it to them. They said they would order the part. I had to call back, twice, and miraculously after the second call, they had "just received the part that day" and could schedule the repair. In the meantime, I took the truck back for a recall appointment, which I was told would take less than an hour. Three hours later, I was finally leaving. I have received multiple calls from Koons Ford (where I purchased the vehicle) about the recall needing to be done, and when I checked with Keystone, they said that the recall work was done but never submitted. I cancelled my seat cooler appointment when they said they would be charging me as it was "not their fault". At this point, I'm returning to Koons, as I don't trust a word from Keystone. Don't waste your time with this place, where the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing.read more
